The harp is the perfect instrument to add something special to any occasion: Weddings, dinners, corporate functions, private parties and product launches. Elena has had a wide experience playing weddings and other functions around Hong Kong, playing for numbers of people ranging from small private dinner parties to 100+ receptions.
Repertoire Her repertoire ranges from classical, light classical [download light classical repertoire as PDF] through to folk music, jazz arrangements and popular songs (new and old). Please see her wedding repertoire list for a sample of the type of music available. If something you would like is not there, just ask! Piano and harp duo is also available.
Weddings Picking music for your wedding is a very personal choice but Elena will offer help and suggestions if you would like a bit of guidance.
When do you want the harpist to play?
Ceremony Playing as your guests find their seats before the ceremony starts, time depends on venue and what you decide, but as a guide 20mins before the entrance of the Bridal party. Music during the signing of the register and photos. Music as you 'walk down the aisle' and your guests leave the room.
Drinks reception and photos Normally this lasts about 1 1/2 hours, depending on how long photos take.
Wedding Breakfast About 2 hours. If a large reception, bear in mind that general noise levels go up by the desert course so this can be a good time for the harpist to make an exit!
